Photo Friday: Lucious.

A little late, I know. But I haven't been keeping up with Photo Fridays lately, so here you go: my entry for this week's challege, Lucious. I haven't been using my French presses lately (for a long time, I only used them like a total snob). So I pulled the small one out when I got home from the university today and had some thick, black brew. Lucious indeed!

Thanks! I found them in the clearance aisle at a T.J. Maxx in Boston a few years ago and have never ever been able to find more (only had two) or the dishes that look like that. They're some of my favorites for buzzing up on caffey-dope.

I love the photograph.

Tea rocks anyways, but french press is one of those conversation pieces that you brag about.

Michael, so good to here from you! I did indeed enjoy my brief French press return. I really have no excuse for using the electric coffee maker instead, other than that I use 1 pound of coffee a week now, rather than two (really!). I've heard it said that one can slow down for tea, and I definitely think this is true of French press coffee. Heck, it takes so long to make that one is forced to!

Hope all is well across the pond!

Peter, tea is great, true. Did you know you can make tea in a French press (loose tea, I mean) and that Bodum makes some very very nice tea-presses? Check out Amazon's selection for some nice prices, too.

Man, I don't even LIKE coffee, but that scene is aptly described as luscious. Very nice picture, and I really like the cup and saucer set too!

I wonder about the flavour. I shall check it out.
