On this day in 1814.

Francis Scott Key wrote "The Star-Bangled Banner," inspired by events which ocurred in Baltimore, Maryland. Legend has it that he was at the location of the bridge now named after him at the time of the unsuccessful attack by the British on Fort McHenry. Here is a panoramic view of one side of the fort I had been meaning to work on for a month now. It is composed of six large photos stitched together.
